For MLL (Multilingual Learner) children and adults, Forge Education provides foundational reading and writing skills in the English language.

Letter pronunciation, sentence structure, grammar and syntax vary between languages. MLL (multilingual learners) can benefit from additional support in foundational English reading and writing skills to improve fluency, vocabulary, comprehension and writing organization.
Sessions include multi-sensory, targeted instruction on phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding, spelling, high frequency words, vocabulary, reading comprehension and reading fluency.
With an extra focus on pronunciation and vocabulary, students gain confidence and improve their fluency and comprehension skills.
Targeted instruction on sentence level mastery, note-taking, summarizing, single paragraph outlines, paragraph writing, multi-paragraph outlines and ultimately composition writing
Because sentence structure and grammar can differ between languages, explicit instruction in English writing skills is essential for multilingual students.
